Extra Melt and Pour Handmade Soapmaking Tips:

- Experiment with layering different scents or creating swirl patterns for added visual appeal.

- Adjust the amount of fragrance oil based on your preference for a subtle or stronger scent.

- Customize the colors and designs to suit your creative vision.

- Add small amounts of extra ingredients in these recipes to your base and follow the instructions given to you by the manufacturer! They will let you know how many extra ingredients you can add to their melt and pour bases without compromising the bases.

- Never add too much Honey to your base - it will bleed out and ooze all over the place when the glycerin soap starts to melt (don't ask me how I know!)

- Always check the humidity levels when making mp soaps! They sweat.

- If you hate the sweating thing package soaps after they are hard and dry in shrink-wrap bags.

- If you don't have a heat gun to shrink the bags use a blow dryer.

- If you don't have shrink wrap bags you can wrap them tightly in plastic cling wrap.

- Do not leave your soap in the shower in a pool of water on the edge of your showers or shelves. Use a soap holder that has drainage on the bottom.

- There are more tips but I will stop here for now and provide more tips in future articles!
